What conditions do you treat?
Our board-certified dermatologists diagnose and treat a wide spectrum of skin, hair, and nail conditions. This includes common concerns such as acne, eczema, rosacea, and psoriasis, as well as more complex conditions like skin cancers, autoimmune disorders, and rare dermatologic diseases. We also provide preventive skin care and regular screenings.
Do I need a referral to see a dermatologist?
In most cases, patients are able to schedule directly with our office without a referral. However, some insurance plans may require a referral from a primary care physician before covering specialty care. We recommend confirming with your insurance provider that our office is in-network prior to making an appointment.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We participate with many major insurance carriers and strive to make care as accessible as possible. Coverage can vary widely depending on your specific plan, so we encourage patients to contact their insurance company to verify benefits before your visit.
What should I bring to my appointment?
For your initial visit, please bring a government-issued photo ID, your insurance card, a list of current medications and supplements, and any relevant medical records. If you are seeking evaluation of a specific condition, photographs or prior biopsy reports can also be helpful.
How soon can I get an appointment?
Our physicians are highly skilled and highly sought after. Typical lead time for an appointment is 2-3 months. We have a select number of urgent appointments available as needed. Drs. Fullerton Stone and Bogomilsky can discuss acute concerns with your primary care physician if they require consultation.
Do you offer cosmetic dermatology services?
We provide a range of medical and aesthetic services. These include injectable treatments (such as Botox and fillers), laser therapy, microneedling, Coolsculpting, chemical peels, and other procedures designed to improve skin tone, texture, and overall appearance. All treatments are performed or supervised by a dermatologist to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.
What is the difference between a dermatologist and an esthetician?
A dermatologist is a physician who has completed extensive medical training, including medical school, residency, and board certification in dermatology. Dermatologists can diagnose and treat medical conditions, prescribe medications, and perform surgical procedures. Estheticians, while highly skilled in skincare, are not medical providers and focus on non-medical treatments such as facials and exfoliation.
Do you see children and adolescents?
Yes. Our dermatologists are experienced in treating patients of all ages, including children and teenagers. We commonly see younger patients for acne, eczema, warts, birthmarks, and other pediatric skin concerns. We work to provide age-appropriate care and ensure both the child and parent feel comfortable throughout the visit.
How should I prepare for a full skin examination?
For a comprehensive skin check, it is best to arrive with minimal makeup, nail polish removed, and clothing that can be easily changed. A gown will be provided for your comfort.
